Company says: Built on our Foundation Platform, the Echelon 5 is our most supportive neutral shoe, providing an accommodating fit that is specifically crafted for orthotic wearers and runners.

I say: The Saucony Echelon has been my go-to shoe for around 5 years now. With its straight last, it is super accommodating to people who, like me, have feet as flat as a board, or those who wear orthotics. Its plush cushioning gives it a comfortable ride, and for those who like a roomy shoe, this offers both. Also, for those who have never tried the Echelon on, it does have a very low arch, this saying that you will probably not feel the arch built up on the inside of the shoe (this makes it VERY accommodating for orthotics and those who have flat feet and cant stand any arch in the inside of a shoe). It is a little on the heavier side, compared to some shoes on the market today, but for those who need a shoe like the Echelon, this is one I would definitely recommend to try out!
